FIRE has destroyed a popular roadside diner on the Bowerhill Industrial Estate

An investigation into how the fire started is on-going, but Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service have said that the cause is believed to be accidental.
The fire service reports, “Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to Lysander Road, Bowerhill at 10.18pm on Tuesday 30th July where Eddie’s Diner was well alight.
“Four crews attended, two from Trowbridge and two from Devizes, and six breathing apparatus wearers used two main jets and three hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. The stop message was received by Fire Control at 12.22am.
“The fire investigation is on-going but it is believed to have started accidentally.”
