The first Broughton Gifford village defibrillator has now been installed outside of The Fox pub.
There will be a training course held in the village hall on Tuesday 16th February from 7pm-9pm run by Julia Doel of the South Western Ambulance Trust.
Martin Freeman said, “The session will be open to all and free to attend. Please do come along and learn how to save a life.
“Thank you very much to Steve Meggs and the village hall committee for raising funds for the defibrillator; John Drummond for installing it and Alex and Jodanna Geneen for allowing us to install it on the wall of their pub.
“The device is sponsored by the parish council and we have signed a four year contract to provide servicing and consumables, etc.
“Hopefully we can look to do the same thing at The Bell in due course, please let me know if you would like to be involved.”
