A FLAG-making session took place recently in the Town Hall. Terri Welch of the group said, “After the success of the flags last summer, an enthusiastic group met to plan the new flags for this year.
“It was good to welcome new faces to the team, with their new ideas. The Guides and Brownies are hoping to make their own flags, which they will enjoy and be proud to see flying during the summer.
“It would be great to have other groups join us and make their own flags as a way to promote the group. The workshops will take place every other Saturday, 1 – 3pm at the Town Hall, so next date is 24th February.
“We need every sort of skill, particularly people able to design the flags. It is a very mixed group who enjoy a fun afternoon. Come along and join us.
