ORGANISERS of a new Friendship Group have hailed the first meeting a great success.
The group met for the first time at the United Church on Tuesday 10th November and the afternoon was enjoyed by all.
Revd. Cathy Arscott from the church said, “I’m so pleased to see so many people come along this afternoon and we hope to see many more.”
Ryan Bewley of funeral directors DJ Bewley said, “It was nice to see so many people enjoying themselves. Without this group, those people would probably never meet so hopefully some new friendships will be formed. We would like to thank Revd Cathy Arscott from the United Church and all the volunteers for making this possible.”
