HELP is still needed to make decorative flags to hang in the summer to mark town events such as the Carnival, Party in the Park and judging of South West in Bloom competition.
The Bloom in Melksham group and the Town Team are inviting people to come along and join in the flag-making sessions that run at the Town Hall every other Saturday. Speaking about the work done so far cllr Terri Welch said, “We are producing great results. There are a number of groups who have called in, collected the material they need, and gone off to make their own flags.
“There is still time for individuals or groups to become involved in decorating our town in July. The materials are available, all that is needed is enthusiasm and a small degree of skill.”
The next sessions are on Saturday 20th May and Saturday 3rd June, from 2pm – 4 pm at the Town Hall.
