FLAG making workshops, running successfully since earlier this year, are still going strong with some wonderful creations being produced.
Terri Welch said, “The Guides and Brownies are working as a group, to produce a selection of flags; it will be good to see their efforts hung in the High Street.
“This year the Market Place roundabout will have flags representing 100 years of votes for women, and some men. While elsewhere 100 years of the RAF is celebrated.
“The workshops have been taking place in the Town Hall on every other Saturday in the early afternoon. Due to everybody wanting to watch the Royal Wedding the last one was cancelled. The next session will be this Saturday 26th May, but at the slightly earlier time of 12-2pm.
“If there are still any groups, or individuals who wish to join us, you will be made most welcome.”
