Stall bookings for the town’s popular Food and River Festival opened recently ahead of the event in September.
The annual festival, which takes place at King George V Park, is a celebration of local produce and river-based activities. Last year marked the event’s 10th anniversary, with more than 4,000 people attending.
The festival will run on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September and promises a weekend of community fun, entertainment and some of the best food and drink from the local area.
Stall bookings opened at the start of January. Organisers say, “We are full for coffee sellers but still have a few spaces for hot food stalls and stalls selling crafts, chutneys and jams.”
