FOREST in Wonderland, Forest and Sandridge School’s upcoming summer fete, will be held on Friday 28th June from 5.30pm-7pm.
Organisers say, “We have a performance square with amazing acts lined up, a brilliant raffle with outstanding prizes, play your cards right, face painting, a plant sale, inflatables, barbecue and a bar – and that’s just the start of the stalls we have.
“We also have ‘The Great Forest Bake Off’ a competition for children and adults. The children are to bake 6 ‘Queen of Heart Jam Tarts’, the special guest judge being Hannah, the children and family worker from St Andrew’s Church, and for the adults a delicious two-layered Victoria Sponge with a filling of their choice, the special guest judge will be the mayor, Jon Hubbard.
“Entry forms and further details can be acquired from the Forest Friends Facebook page, or by emailing us on forest.friends@ hotmail.co.uk or by calling 07789 411260.”
