A family fun day in Bowerhill has raised £2,000 for local mental health charity Wiltshire Mind.
The event, held at The Pilot on Saturday 19th September, featured live music, family activities, a dog show and a visit from Bluey.
The new dog show proved a hit, with categories including prettiest girl, most handsome boy, best trick, cutest puppy, best young handler, waggiest tail and golden oldie.
Organiser Tracie Winslow said, “It was a fantastic day and great to have raised such a fabulous amount for Mind. We had some amazing entertainment with lots for the whole family to enjoy and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The dog show was a big hit and really added to the day.
“We got great support from the local community and everyone at the pub. People said they were delighted to see the event back after missing last year because of my health issues and our plans are to hold it every year going forward.”
Tracie has organised the event for six years, with the previous event taking place in 2024 and raising more than £7,000 for Wiltshire Mind, which provides one-to-one counselling services for adults and young people.
