A LOCAL Guides group recently took over Melksham’s Art House cafe to make Christmas puddings as part of a special festive project.
The Guide group from Steeple Ashton spent the evening of 15th November making Christmas puddings to be used in community boxes which are distributed to elderly people during the holidays.
The group’s Christine Glover said, “These puddings will be given along with other items made by Steeple Ashton Rainbows, Brownies and Guides for the elderly living in Steeple Ashton, Keevil and Semington.
“We are very grateful to Melksham Rotary for allowing the Guides to use the cafe for their project.”
