MELKSHAM will be holding a Great British Spring Clean this weekend as part of a nationwide initiative to clean the country’s streets.
Fourteen local organisations from the Melksham area have registered to take part in the Great British Spring Clean over the weekend of 3rd to 5th March.
Melksham organiser Miriam Zaccarelli says, “Pick your closest clean from all the ones going on locally or show up at the Canberra Youth Centre at 1pm, get kitted out with the equipment provided, head off in pairs or teams to tidy up the town and return at 3pm for tea and refreshments.
“There is always a great turn out for Melksham’s Tidy Town events and we hope this one will be even better than usual.”
