THE Holt Scarecrow Trail takes place this month from Saturday 24th to Monday 26th August.
There will be over 50 scarecrows across the village to identify and this year the theme is ‘animal magic’
A shorter children’s trail will have 26 A to Z animal characters to identify.
This year’s event is raising funds for the village school and pre-school and the village hall.
Trail maps are on sale from the village superstore and the village hall over the weekend of the trail, from 10am to 4pm.
