Don’t forget, the Melksham Hospital Fete is back after 15 years on Sunday 9th July.
Head to Melksham Hospital for an afternoon of traditional fete activities including live music, Melksham Carnival’s Bonny Baby competition, a dog show, a bouncy castle, ice cream and candy floss, stalls from local businesses, a performance by Melksham Music and Drama and a chance for children to meet Peppa Pig.
Melksham Hospital was opened in the late 1930s. The fete was an annual event that attracted large crowds but when the wards of the hospital were closed in 2007, the fete did not run again, until now.
Organised by the Friends of Melksham Hospital charity, the event runs from 2pm to 5.30pm.
