MELKSHAM’S new recruitment agency held an open evening this month to celebrate its new office in the town, and has started raising money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Five Rivers Recruitment, on Melksham High Street, held the open event to meet other local businesses on Thursday 2nd March. The company also kicked off its fundriasing for the air ambulance charity.
Director Richard Williams said, “We are proud to have nominated Wiltshire Air Ambulance as our charity of the year. Our launch event on 2nd March was our first charitable event of the year and the directors pledged to donate £5 for every client that joined us to celebrate. With 25 guests joining us over the course of a couple of hours for a glass of fizz and some wonderful food supplied by Grounded Café, we have already added £125 to our charity pot for the air ambulance.
“We are looking at a schedule of events for the year in order to support the charity and will be doing our level best to raise as much money as possible for the cause over the remainder of 2017.”
