Sheila Jackson, on behalf of the club said, “We show you how to have confidence in everything you do. You will learn how to tackle the most difficult of skills, because most of the time all a person needs to succeed is confidence.
“If you are shy and retiring and cannot pluck up the nerve to get up and achieve, then join us.
“The speakers club is not just about getting up and speaking, it is about giving you confidence to communicate with people from all walks of life and giving you confidence to take up challenges regardless of their size and difficulty.
“We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at the Rachel Fowler Centre at 7.30pm. Please just turn up.”
