The Year 6 children at Kings Park performed their end of year production ‘Move It’ to a packed out hall of friends and family on Wednesday 16th July.
The children had been rehearsing for the last term, perfecting their street dance moves and singing voices.
The story is based around a dance studio where two rival dance crews are competing for a place in the regional contest. Who will win the dance off? Blaze, who always win everything, or Hypnotiks, who are struggling with one of their crew who keeps letting them down?
As well as those who chose to perform on stage, members of Year 6 took on responsible roles within the backstage crew, taking charge of lighting, music and scenery.
The school reports that the production was a great success.
