LACOCK Abbey gardens will be open to the public for two days this week, in aid of Gardens for Charity.
From 10.30am – 5.30pm on Wednesday 25th February and Saturday 28th, Lacock’s Abbey gardens will be open to be explored. There is a woodland garden with carpets of aconites, snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils; a botanic garden with greenhouse; medieval cloisters, and magnificent trees. The site is mostly level but has some gravel paths.
The site will have wheelchair access, dogs allowed, plants and refreshments for sale, and coaches for transport.
Admission is £5.50 for adults and £2.75 for children. The Gardens for Charity organisation hold open days at private gardens to raise money for nursing and care charities.
The gardens are at Lacock Abbey, High Street, Lacock, Chippenham, SN15 2LG.
