Spring is just around the corner which means one thing – lambing at Lackham is under way!
Wiltshire College & University Centre is delighted to be hosting its annual lambing weekends once again at its specialist land-based campus.
This year’s event takes place across two weekends Saturday and Sunday 14th – 15th March and 21st and 22nd March when round 1380 lambs are expected from 826 ewes.
The college will have already welcomed more than 400 lambs by this time as there is an earlier flock this year so many of the lambs will be out in the fields ready and waiting for visitors.
Those coming to lambing will also be able to see the dairy cows being milked, enjoy free tractor and trailer rides, learn about lambing and agriculture and visit food and beverage stalls.
Tickets bought in advance cost £20 per car (maximum seven seats) £6 for adults over the age of 17 or £4 for children aged 4-16 years-old. Children under that age go free.
