LEARN a new skill in 2019 by joining Melksham Speakers Club.
Sheila Jackson said, “2019 you will meet with joy or trepidation. The choice is yours. If you are unhappy with the future and life appears boring, how about learning a new skill and by doing so, gain confidence in everything that you do.
“At Melksham Speakers with kindness we persuade you to get up and speak in an effective and interesting manner. This gives you confidence to challenge the future and change what you want to do.
“Whether in your work or your social life, members report many good things happening to them. A wedding speech without notes, a sponsored trip to Chicago, lecturing on cruise ships and many more things that have been achieved by learning to speak clearly and spontaneously.
“Being a member teaches you to stay calm in a crisis, control your temper, put your brain in gear before your mouth and challenge yourself to go out and do things that for you may appear impossible.
“We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at the Rachel Fowler Centre at 7.30pm. Our next meeting is on January 8th please join us.”
