ANYONE interested in learning more about the Shurnhold Fields mini country park in Melksham – or indeed volunteering to help – is invited to the AGM of the Friends of Shurnhold Fields on Wednesday 8th December at Melksham Town Hall, 7pm.
“Shurnhold Fields is a wonderful mini country park for all residents and visitors to enjoy, on the site of the former George Ward School playing fields,” says the Friends. “It’s a place to experience tranquility and nature in a beautiful rural setting, right on your doorstep in Melksham.
“All are welcome to our AGM and in particular, new volunteers for the group. The AGM will be followed by a meeting of the members of the group.”
