THE White Hart in Atworth, live music, an open mic night, a pub quiz and vintage cars – all lined up for the weeks ahead.
On Friday 15th April there is live music from local band The Clones, from 9pm to 11pm.
The pub says, “They play the songs, you do the dancing – it’s times like these you learn to live again.”
On Sunday 17th April, it’s the open mic night! The pub says, “Come on down and join us for open mic night here at The Hart, supporting new and raw talent, originals and covers and local musicians! On Monday 18th April it’s the charity pub quiz, from 8pm to 10pm. “Come and join us for a quiz full of great questions and random bonus rounds,” says the pub. “If you’ve been to one of our quizzes before ,then you will know that they are like no other! Four rounds of 10 questions on various subjects, plus bonus. Entry is 2.50 per person, with a maximum of 4 per team.
“We will be raising money for local groups and charities – the beneficiary changes monthly. Please get in touch to nominate a charity. So grab your friends and families and come to test your knowledge at one of our monthly quizzes.”
On Tuesday 19th April the pub is hosting its monthly vintage car club get together, from 7pm to 9pm. The pub says, “All are welcome at the classic car meet, old car or not. So come on down to chat about all things cars, grab a bite to eat, a beverage or just a chance to get out in your car for a social. On Sunday 1st May, there is live music from an Elton John tribute act, from 5pm to 7pm.
The pub says, “All the greatest hits of Elton John from the 1970s to the present day. Experience the magic of this unique rock n roll legend with classics such as Rocket Man, Your Song and Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word, with flamboyant costumes inspired by the great man himself The Elton John Experience will be sure to get you singing and dancing along to the music.”
