THE White Hart in Atworth has live music, its monthly bike meet and a scarecrow trail all coming up in the weeks ahead.
On Friday 22nd July, 9pm to 11pm, there is live music from Covergirl. “Covergirl are one of the UK’s top live covers bands, fronted by superb female vocalist Tracey Jones and backed by an excellent group of musicians with songs from all eras of pop and rock including current hits,” says the White Hart.
Following the success of last year’s scarecrow trail the White Hart is hosting another trail the weekend of the 6th and 7th August. This year’s theme is ‘Film Characters’, and over 25 scarecrows will be on show at the pub and around the village. The pub will be open all day, from 10am to 5pm, and maps of the trail will be available from the pub for £1.
The pub says, “Parking is available in the pub or industrial estate. Please do not park on the road, and be mindful of villagers’ properties while doing the trail.”
On Tuesday 2nd August, the pub’s monthly bike meet for all the ‘two wheelers’ will be held from 7pm to 9pm.
The pub says, “Come on down to chat about all things bikes, grab a bite to eat, a beverage or just a chance to get out on your bike for a social. For more information please contact organiser Keith on: Keith@prosureinsuranceservices.co.uk.”
