A CHARITY breakfast club will be held at the Pig and Whistle in Woodrow Road on Saturday 16th October, from 9am to 2pm.
This event is raising money and awareness for local support groups and will be collecting non-perishable goods to pass on to the local food bank. The Pig and Whistle have pledged to donate £1 per full English breakfast sold at the event, with the money going to a different charity each month (veggie options are available).
The monthly bike meet takes place on Thursday October 21st; starts at 7pm and ends around 9pm.
The last event for October is the Halloween disco on Sunday 31st 8pm to 11pm. Fancy dress is very much encouraged to make the event as spooky as possible – prizes will be given out for best dressed, so start having a think now!
The prize bingo kicks off on Sunday 7th November, promising an afternoon of great fun, games and a raffle with lots of prizes to be won. Prizes have all been donated by local businesses. All proceeds raised will be donated to Dorothy House charity. Eyes down at 4.00pm.
Live music returns to the Pig & Whistle on Saturday 13th November 9pm – 11pm with Plan of Action – a rock, blues and alternative covers and original band, which is based in Melksham.”
