SUPPORT for people living with bereavement and the weekly Tuesday drop-in meetings are all in session at ‘that meeting space’, formerly the Art House Café.
“Losing someone we love is one of the hardest things in life,” explains John Firth from ‘that meeting space by GoodNews’. “We are never the same afterwards. Sometimes this loss can leave us with a host of confused feelings and no way of processing them.
“The Bereavement Journey is a five-week course (a sixth week is optional) that has had an impact on many lives, helping people to work through their grief. Occasionally, the pain of the grief has left people bound for years, even decades. The Bereavement Journey has helped many emerge from that dark place and deal with the emotions associated with their grief.
“Our next Bereavement Journey course will be beginning on Friday 11th March from 10am till 12.15pm at ‘that meeting space by GoodNews’. Please call 07389 866714 for more details.”
Tuesday drop-in
On Tuesdays everyone is welcome to drop-in to ‘that meeting space’.
“The Tuesday drop-in at ‘that meeting space’ has become an oasis of support and friendship for a growing number of people,” continues John. “As we emerge out of the pandemic many have lost confidence and are finding it difficult to re-engage with the community.
“Just drop in any Tuesday between 10.30am and 12 noon and you will find a truly warm welcome. There’s a nice cuppa and friendly folks ready for a chat.”
