Melksham Carnival has received a financial boost from two local companies.
Gompels and Nortree Motor Company have both contributed towards the running cost of this year’s event that will take place on Saturday 28th July.
Representing Gompels, James Pritchard said, “We are happy to be supporting the carnival for another year. Gompels has been part of the community for over 50 years now and we are always keen to give back to the town wherever we can.
“We would like to encourage more local businesses to sponsor the carnival – it’s a great event, everyone should get involved!”
Dan Phillips from Nortree Motor Company said, “We are delighted to once again support the carnival. It’s a great occasion for the Melksham community and a fantastic event to support.”
Thanking the pair, Melksham carnival committee member and carnival royalty guardian, Beth Dark added, “Once again we are overwhelmed by the support that we have been shown. The carnival would cease to exist without sponsors like Gompels and Nortree.”
