A MEMBER of staff at a care home in Melksham has been highly commended at The Great British Care Awards.
Chris Guest, the customer relationships manager at Blenheim House, received the award in the Ancillary Worker Award category.
Assistant practitioner at Blenheim House, Vicky Swain, said, “I am immensely proud of Chris’s commendation at The Great British Care Awards.
“His innovative approach to community engagement and unwavering commitment to providing person-centred care has made a profound impact on the lives of our residents and their families.
“This recognition is not just an individual achievement but a testament to the collective spirit and dedication that defines our team at Blenheim House.”
A spokesperson for Blenheim House added, “Chris’ nomination for the Ancillary Worker Award which focuses on exceptional service, came from an online platform where the community and families associated with Blenheim House could express their appreciation. Chris received votes from four families and a local community group, underscoring the profound impact of his work.
“Upon receiving the commendation, Chris expressed deep gratitude and emphasised the collaborative nature of work at Blenheim House, giving a special mention to fellow nominee, Ann Dunlop, for her invaluable contributions.
