A MELKSHAM care worker was a finalist in a ‘great care’ awards scheme in November.
Lisa Hunt, who lives in Melksham and works as part of Somerset Care’s Wiltshire Community Services team on Challeymead Business Park, was invited to the Great South West Care Awards as a shortlisted nominee.
Accompanied by business manager, Jenny Futcher, Lisa attended the ceremony at the Marriott Hotel in Bristol in November.
Lisa wasn’t announced as the winner of her category on the evening, but Somerset Care, her team, family and customers are all extremely proud of her.
Speaking of Lisa’s achievements, manager Jenny said, “Lisa never forgets the importance of each customer and staff member, and always works hard to achieve and deliver high standards of planning and communication.
“Nothing is ever too much trouble for Lisa. Our customers and colleagues regularly comment that they find Lisa a pleasure to deal with. We are all incredibly proud of Lisa; it’s a huge achievement to be recognised regionally.”
