Local MP Michelle Donelan will take part in a whistle-stop tour of the Chippenham constituency, holding events in all market towns and villages.
The MP will be holding drop-in events in 15 different locations from village halls to supermarkets and coffee shops. This tour will give constituents the opportunity to meet her and discuss issues of concern or bring to her attention any personal issues they would like support with, in addition to her usual weekly surgery schedule.
For Melksham and surrounding villages, Michelle Donelan will be hosting the drop-in events at: the White Hart pub, Atworth, on Friday 20th July from 12.30pm to 2pm; Bowerhill Village Hall on Thursday 26th July from 4pm to 6pm; Melksham Town Hall on Monday 30th July from 12pm to 2pm; The Glove Factory, Holt, on Tuesday 31st July from 12pm to 1.30pm; and the Kings Arms pub, Melksham, on Tuesday 31st July from 5.30pm to 7pm.
Michelle Donelan MP said, “Since being elected I have always sought to be as accessible as possible and with recent open surgeries proving very popular, I have added additional dates to meet demand. I will be stopping at 15 different locations in order to allow for people from all the constituency to share their problems, ask questions or simply have a chat. With events in both the day time and evenings, I hope as many people as possible will be able to join me and I look forward to meeting as many people as possible.”
Constituents who wish to meet the MP are welcome to contact her constituency office on 01249 704465 or on her email michelle.donelan.mp@ parliament.uk for more information.
