A LOCAL resident has won a five-day holiday in Brookside Care Home’s recent raffle.
The resident, Paul Ford, won a break to a holiday park in Burnham-on-Sea after the holiday was donated to the care home by an employee and her family.
“Paul was delighted,” says the care home’s activities coordinator, Sally Taylor. “He said, ‘Thank you so much, amazing news,’ and he was delighted about the amount of money raised for such a good cause!
“He was informed by phone by Steve Clapp, who co-owns the caravan with his daughter Sharon Sigrist, who donated the tickets.”
