THE next lunchtime recital at the Rachel Fowler Centre will take place on Thursday 28th October and will feature a newcomer to the centre. Organisers say, “Jean Collins lives in Bromham and is a very popular speaker. She will be ‘Looking at Life as I see it’ offering amusing and light-hearted observations.
“A fortnight later, on 11th November, the recitalist is Mr Nick Goodall, the retired head of music at Stonar School. He is a very talented pianist and composer and may very well be bringing along some musical friends.
“The recitals all begin at 12.30pm and last about 45 minutes. Light refreshments are available from noon. There is no charge, but donations towards the expenses of the Rachel Fowler Centre are always welcomed.”
