THE next lunchtime recital at the Rachel Fowler Centre will be on Thursday 19th October when John Gutteridge from Bath will sing for the group.
“John has a lovely bass/baritone voice and a super repertoire of songs,” says one of the organisers, Lesley Windebank. “John has a new young accompanist as well, Claer Turner.
“The following recital will be in four weeks on Thursday 16th November. We will welcome the return of Stonar School’s music department and their musical director Sophie Fisher. The school’s music students have an excellent reputation and are always well received at the Rachel Fowler Centre.”
The recitals both begin at 12.30pm and last about 45 minutes. Light refreshments are available from noon. There is no charge but donations towards the expenses of the Rachel Fowler Centre are always welcomed.
