THE next lunchtime recital at the Rachel Fowler Centre will be on Thursday 7th March when the group will welcome back Nick Goodall, the former head of music at Stonar School.
“He will entertain us with the piano and is going to be accompanying Sue Sharp, a singing teacher from Stonar who has an amazing soprano voice and will be performing some Mozart songs,” says organiser, Lesley Windebank.
“Two weeks later, on Thursday 21st March we welcome several of the students from Stonar School’s music department under the baton of their deputy musical director, Sophie Fisher. Their programme will be revealed on the day and will be utterly charming, as ever.”
The recitals begin at 12.30pm and last about 45 minutes. Light refreshments are available at noon. There is no charge but donations towards the expenses of the Rachel Fowler Centre are welcomed.
