MEADS of Melksham, formerly Freeland Automotive, held their official open day on Saturday 28th April, whilst also raising money for the Melksham Christmas Lights.
Meads of Melksham, once Freeland Automotive Ltd opened by Kevan Freeland in 2011, is now run by long-standing employee, Adam Mead, who has recently rebranded the company. Meads is a small, family- run, independent garage that prides itself in taking customer care and satisfaction to the next level as they undertake servicing and repairs for all makes and models of cars and vans.
On Saturday 28th April, they held their official grand opening at their premises on Forest Road, where a big turn out helped them to raise £250 for the Melksham Christmas Lights Group due to holding a raffle to win a Street KA car and a £100 draw.
The lucky winner of the KA was Sara Phelps and the £100 was won by Sally Jeffries. There was also a bouncy castle and sweet goody bags for the children and goody bags for the adults.
Adam Mead, managing director at Meads of Melksham said, “It’s good to finally be officially open, it was a great turn out on the day and the support was great. It’s a bit of an achievement as I always knew that one day I would take over from Kevan, so it’s great that it has finally come to light.”
