THERE’S non-stop entertainment at Melksham Assembly Hall in the coming weeks.
On Saturday 28th September, the Assembly Hall will be transformed as part of the town’s 800th market charter anniversary celebrations to host a medieval banquet.
Organisers say, “Be transported back in time to the days of kings, queens, knights and jesters at this fabulous medieval event. Whether you want to come as a knight, wench, lord or lady, come hungry as we serve an amazing fabulous feast. Witness live medieval action and experience medieval music whilst enjoying all your favourite modern refreshments.”
Tickets cost £35 per person.
On Thursday 10th October, ABBAMANIA return to the Assembly Hall following their sold out show in 2018.
Promising a concert ‘bigger and better’ than before, Europe’s leading ABBA tribute, will have you dancing and jiving the night away to all of ABBA’s most memorable hits including Waterloo, Dancing Queen, Take a Chance, Money Money Money, Chiquitita, Voulez Vous and The Winner Takes it All, to name a few.
The tribute act say, “Our aim is for to you experience how a live concert would have felt all those years ago, bringing you the best in vocals, musicianship and musical arrangements. This show has been running since 1999 and is the longest running ABBA tribute concert in the world.”
Tickets cost £23.
Also coming up at the Assembly Hall are Classic BRIT Award winners, Blake, with their ‘Movies & Musicals’ tour on Friday 11th October, and Dire Straits tribute act, dS:uK, on Saturday 12th October.
