Meet your councillors at town hall drop-in

Residents are invited to a ‘Meet Your Councillors’ event at the town hall on Saturday 14th February.

The event will give people the chance to join Mayor Cllr Saffi Rabey and Cllr Andrew Griffin for coffee and cake, share feedback directly, raise community issues and ask questions.

Cllr Andrew Griffin said, “I have been one of the four elected councillors for Melksham South Ward for two years but will happily discuss issues with residents from other wards, though I may have to refer details to my colleagues.”

A spokesperson for Melksham Town Council said, “‘Meet Your Coun-cillor’ sessions help make community engagement more accessible, particularly for those without online access, improving the inclusivity of Melksham. They extend the ways in which our community can get to know their councillors through in‑depth discussions on matters that shape our town.

“Melksham Town Council looks forward to listening to the lived experiences and opinions of residents. By working together, Melksham can continue to grow as an inclusive and welcoming place for all.”

The drop-in will run from 10am to 12pm. No booking is required.
