MELKSHAM resident, Pat Goodship, gifted her school friend, Linda Godwill, a Melksham in Bloom calendar, sending it all the way to Australia!
Linda and her family emigrated to Australia in 1959 and she now lives in Lockhart, New South Wales.
Pat said, “We’ve kept in touch and eventually met up again in 2008, when I was on a world trip. Linda has never been back to the UK since. She was very excited when the calendar arrived!”
