THREE members of the Enigma Twirl Team in Melksham have qualified for the National Championships.
The three troupe members qualified in their first NBTA (National Baton Twirling Association) competition last weekend at Bournemouth.
“We are so proud of them; not only for taking to the floor but we are also thrilled to say that they all qualified for the National Championships in October which will be held in Torbay,” said Tanya Denning-Kuijper from the troupe.
“The team is growing and developing brilliantly and we are looking forward to our first SITA (Southern Independent Twirling Association) competition with the team next month.
“Enigma has so many events lined up this year already and lots of plans are in place for the carnival season ahead. The team are constantly fundraising to support the troupe’s growth, costume and equipment needs and we are still in need of a vehicle to tow our trailer and be able to transport the team to and from events.”
Enigma is holding a Ladies Night at the Liberal Club Melksham, on 12th April (over 18s only) tickets are £10 each. There is a cabaret act, stripper and Ann Summers, with various local businesses having stalls for your enjoyment or bit of a pamper.
