Unpaid carers in Melksham are invited to take a short break from their caring responsibilities at the monthly Melksham Carer Café, hosted by Carers Together Wiltshire.
Held on the first Thursday of every month from 10.30am to 12pm at The Kings Arms Hotel, the café provides a friendly and informal space for carers to meet others in a similar situation.
Organisers say, “The sessions are designed as an opportunity to chat, relax and connect with other carers who really ‘get it’, with a focus on wellbeing and peer support. There is no set agenda and no need to book – carers can simply turn up on the day.”
Carers Together Wiltshire supports unpaid carers across the county, offering information, guidance and opportunities to reduce isolation.
