The Choral Society will perform a concert of European Sacred Music in the United Church in Melksham on Saturday 6th April.
They say, “The concert includes the joyful Beatus Vir by Monteverdi, Mozart’s Ave Verum and Malcom Archer’s 1993 Requiem. The choir is particularly looking forward to working with our organist for the concert, Alex Aitken, who is the musical director for the National Youth Music Theatre. Please come along for an evening of varied and uplifting music – we start of 7.30pm and our tickets cost £8 in advance (from the Tourist Information Centre) or £10 on the door.”
