OVER 200 people attended Melksham’s first craft beer festival last weekend at The Rachel Fowler Centre, organised by local brewers Stealth Brew Co.
The festival showcased premium beers and ciders from around the UK, alongside fresh pizza and live music.
Malcom Shipp from Stealth Brew Co and The Hiding Place pub in the High Street said, “It was absolutely brilliant! It was a really lovely occasion and more than we could have wished for. It was a great space, visitors were all from Melksham and they said they had never stepped foot in the Rachel Fowler Centre, so it was nice to introduce them to a local space.
“The atmosphere was cracking, jovial and it all went without a hitch. For the first event of its kind, it was a huge success. We are looking to hold another one in the springtime and make it a two a year event.
“The feedback we had was fantastic. The pizza guy was non-stop! Beer and pizza was seen as the perfect combination and no-one could resist the smell. The music was great during the evenings too from local artistes. All in all, absolutely amazing.”
