MELKSHAM Comic-Con’s fundraising event, Melksham Comic-Con presents Stark Expo 1943 has been cancelled.
The event which was meant to take place this Saturday evening at Melksham Assembly Hall has been cancelled due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’.
Hayley Spencer, director of Melksham Comic-Con says, “It is with a very, very heavy heart that the Melksham Comic-Con team are, due to unforeseen circumstances, having to cancel this year’s 1943 Stark Expo event.
“We are incredibly sorry to everyone who was excited and looking forward to this evening, and we promise that we will make it up to you later this year.
“For those who have bought tickets so far, we will be in touch very soon to arrange refunds, or exchanges – whatever is best for yourselves. If we don’t get hold of you by this weekend, please send us a message yourselves as we may not have your contact details.
“Again, we are very sorry and absolutely gutted to have to report this, and we hope you can understand that sometimes, things happen that are beyond our control.
“Thank you to everyone that has supported this event, we love you all very much!”
