Melksham community meals is looking for a new home for its popular service in the town.
The organisation’s chair, Sue Mortimer, has reported that the committee at Spencer’s has decided not to use their kitchens for the foreseeable future as they were not cost effective to keep open.
Sue and her team thank Ray and Tony for their support in the time they were there. Sue says, “This means that Melksham community meals can no longer take place at Spencer’s. We are looking at the positive side of this decision as it means we have an opportunity to get back into the town as we were very conscious of the fact that not all our previous users were able to get to Spencer’s.
“We have time to find alternative premises and that is just what we are going to aim for. We would be willing to work with other groups.”
If anyone has any suggestions please contact Sue on 07719 935 883.
