The Melksham Foodbank team would like to thank everyone who gives to the Foodbank, whether donations of food or money.
Donations have been received from schools, private individuals, businesses, churches and supermarkets. Many people give consistently through the year and we gratefully receive an additional boost at harvest time and on the approach to Christmas.
Your contributions make a big difference to both families and single people in Melksham and the surrounding villages.
The parcels of food that we give out are enough for 4 to 5 days. From January to November 2017 the Foodbank has given out 673 family parcels.
You can donate to Melksham Foodbank by giving tins and packets of non-perishable food at Asda, Co-op (Blackmore Road), Sainsbury’s and Waitrose supermarkets, St Damian’s Surgery, Auto-line Service Station on Spa Rd and John Stuart Funeral Directors on High Street.
