OVER £1,600 has been raised for Marie Curie Cancer Care from the Great Daffodil Campaign collection in Melksham.
£1,636 was raised by collectors in the town and outside Lidl and Leekes during the month of March. The money raised will go towards providing home nursing for those suffering with terminal cancer.
Melksham organiser, Peter Colegate said, “We were very pleased with the amount raised and would like to thank all the collectors as well as Lidl and Leekes. We are also grateful to Melksham News for its support and coverage.”
