THE awards for this year’s Melksham in Bloom competition were handed out during a presentation at The Assembly Hall on Sunday 8th September.
Mayor of Melksham, cllr Jon Hubbard, presented the awards at Melksham Gardeners’ Society annual flower and produce show, with Bruce Petty crowned the overall winner.
Committee clerk for Melksham Town Council, Lorraine McRandle said, “Thanks to Leekes and Whitehall Garden Centre for sponsoring the event. With grateful thanks to Linda De Santiz for taking the photos.
“As well as familiar faces, it was great to see so many first time entrants achieving first prize or runner-up in various categories. Congratulations to everyone who took part in the competition and hopefully they will enter again next year.”
