Are you interested in local history? Have you been trying to solve the riddles of your Melksham family tree? Or have you recently moved to the area and want to learn more about where you now live?
The Well House Collection is Melksham’s museum, located at Well House Manor, 48 Spa Road. There you will find artefacts, a computer displaying old photographs and a library with books about the area, including many old directories. We’re also always looking for information you may have!
If you are not able to stop in, TWHC has just launched its website, filled with photographs, books, maps, stories and documents. As the collection grows, so does the information available on the website, so if you have not found your answer, please either email info@twhc.org.uk or bookmark the website at www.twhc.org.uk.
