Melksham parkrun saw another good turnout on Saturday with much milder weather and 17 first-timers.
Organisers said, “We welcomed parkrunners from Swindon who chose Melksham, as their run couldn’t take place because of another event at their venue.
“Next Saturday, we look forward to welcoming a visiting ‘pacer’ from Northamptonshire, so if anyone wants to improve their time he’ll be doing a 30- minute run.
“Last Saturday we reluctantly had to cancel the event due to the snow and ice, but one family turned up to run it on their own, which is classed as a ‘freedom run’. They don’t get official times or benefit from the support of marshals etc., just personal satisfaction!
“As always, we depend on volunteers and some tasks let you run as well, so please go onto the Melksham parkrun website and click on ‘melksham helpers@parkrun.com
