The main stage programme for Melksham Party in the Park 2014 on 12th July is now complete, and as always there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Bruce Burry, on behalf of Melksham PITP said, “This year we have drawn up a great list of bands and acts for our main stage. Some are returning to PITP for a second appearance and some are here for the first time. PITP gives the younger less experienced performers a great opportunity for exposure on a larger stage and in front of a large audience, and we are proud, as a local festival, to be able to do this.
“We also have a mix of genres with both original material and covers being performed. Some of the bands / singers appearing are Abba Arrival Uk, The Ray Jones Band, Decibelles, Dirty Arry, Tom Vigar, Izzy F and Courtney Buchanan
“We would like to thank all the bands / singers who have emailed us offering their services for this year. We normally start to prepare for Party in the Park in January, so any artist that would like to be considered for next year please contact us then.
“The Arena programme, including Titan the Robot, Bernie Bennett (comedy tightrope act) and Dee Dee Wilde from Pans People is near completion; both main stage and arena act schedules will be published in the PITP programme and here in the Melksham News.
