Following on from our last report regarding thefts in Melksham, the team have had success in arresting four juveniles suspected to be linked to a series of thefts and anti-social behaviour (ASB) in both Melksham and Trowbridge; the juveniles have been bailed for further enquiries and interviews over the coming month.
As we are entering a new phase of leadership for the team, some changes have taken place, aligning officers with specific areas of responsibility. This will allow you to know who you need to contact for assistance and enable that officer to focus their responsibilities to one specific area. Moving forwards, PC Ben Coombs will be working with police community support officer (PCSO) Luke Hosken and PCSO Vicky Rolph concentrating on issues within Melksham town centre and Bowerhill.
PC Jen Miller will be taking on the Melksham rural areas alongside PCSO Mel Culliford. We also incorporate responsibilities for Bradford on Avon which falls under the care of PC Rachel Jackson, PCSO Maria Badder and PCSO Laura Wallace. The majority of communication will now be channelled through PC Coombs and PC Miller.
Over the coming month our focus as a team will be on the thefts and ASB in the town centre and ASB in Bowerhill in the form of people driving carelessly and at high speed. If you would like to contact us about any of these issues, or if you have any information which you feel could assist us with our efforts in these areas, please contact us at TrowbridgeAreaCPT@wiltshire.police.uk.
Please do not use this email to report crimes as that needs to be done either through 101, 999 or the online crime report page on the Wiltshire Police.
