Melksham retirees enjoy Pimm’s on the patio at retirement development

Homeowners and staff at McCarthy and Stone’s Meadowsweet Place Retirement Living development, on Spa Road in Melksham, did not let the rain dampen their spirits when they opened their doors to local retirees for an afternoon of ‘Pimm’s on the Patio’.

Guests may not have been able to make the most of the landscaped gardens – thanks to the great British weather – but they took the opportunity to enjoy a glass of Pimm’s on the patio and in the homeowners’ lounge at Meadowsweet Place.  All those who attended the special event were also invited to take a closer look at the development, where just five apartments are now remaining.  Visitors also spent time chatting to the McCarthy and Stone team, and retirees who are already living at the development.
